Hebendanz Keller in Forchheim

There were three of us to eat, snack, schnitzel and currywurst. Food was bad, waiter overwhelmed with about 20 guests, two. The crowning glory came when the bill was still wrong at all. They don't see us anymore.

Nice staff, good beer and great snacks: nothing to complain about; great cellar!

Hebendanz Keller is located at the beginning of the Kellerwald in Forchheim. Many local cellars can be found here. A considerable increase to the cellar taverns is easy for the Otto Normalo to go, for people with disabilities it will certainly be difficult. Nice food and beer. You sit wonderfully under the trees. Here is the best currywurst: much better than that at Konnopke or Mering36 in Berlin. The shish kebab pan is just as good. A measure of beer costs just under EUR 6.

The lifting dance cellar is one of several cellars in Forchheim and lies in the cellar forest. The slopes in the forest are not to be underestimated, but it is worth to stop there, especially when the Annafest is celebrated and drive young and old there with food and drinks, music and carousel. The food is small in the basement but local and delicious. You should also try the many different beers.

The first drinks went pretty fast, but in the first round only drinks order taken, no food. Bravely waited, there will already be a system behind it, but as already written, guests who came for us why always with the same drinks order the food, and when the waiter came to us, this shared with us the dishes on the day ticket are already out (18:40 clock) and then was still baffled because we looked funny and is gone. The waiter the money for the 2 beer in the hand and bye. A pity, we were really looking forward to the cellars. Maybe the wrong cellar was chosen by the three who had it open. In the end there was instead of Franconian food and a second beer Asia food in the apartment ...

After a long time we wanted to give the Forchheimer Kellerwald another chance. After many owners had changed and thereby suffered the quality of food, we went back to "still drobn". Unfortunately, not many cellars were open, which is why we opted for the very few guests occupied at this time Hebendanz-cellar to quickly satisfy our hungry stomachs. Unfortunately, we were taught a little better and started the journey home with a growling stomach. Before we arrived, a 2-seat table and a 10-seat table were occupied, corresponding to a low audience. The poor waitresses always had to go downstairs to the cellar for drinks, so we sat for a long time without seeing an operator. When she climbed out of the cellar after a long time, we finally got a card and were allowed to order drinks. Unfortunately, this order was not received very friendly and you could not even pronounce, as the waiter was already gone, without you could order a drink for the toddler. Even when stopping to drink, he disappeared again and did not hear that the child needed something to drink ... Simply overwhelmed, the rows filled up so slowly, the waiter was busy with the beverage orders and the pouring. It felt like we passed it 30 times without being asked what to expect after three quarters of an hour. No, worse, there were even other guests who only just arrived at the food order preferred. Of course the little girl became very restless now. In addition, various objects were thrown down, a glass of a guest at the next table in passing overturned and the contents spilled, and various exclamations and sighs one could not expelled faster. Other tables had similar difficulties and then hastily left the cellar to go elsewhere. Of course, this leads to lost sales and bad reputation. After a total of 1 hour of waiting for a meal order, we got up, handed the waiter the money for the drinks and made us hungry from the field. I would like to add that it might not have been wrong if the two in the time looking for kitchen staff (since no food orders were recorded for a long time) the poor waiter helped and supported, rather than smokes and on the phone rumdrückend for nothing to feel responsible. This was by far the most exciting non-lunch I have ever tasted. Thanks for that!

On tap is HEBENDANZ Annafestbier from the local brewery. Beer cellar is under the terraces, there are about 400 seats. Keller is open until the end of September (in fine weather), NOT ONLY during Annafest.

Did was delicious, Service was prompt, beer was cold, view was nice.

You cannot assign a star here at all. The greatest cheek what you don't want to experience in the evening. You wait half an hour to three quarters of an hour until you can finally order drinks. Then the warm food stands at the counter for about 20 minutes until someone has mercy on taking it to the table. Drinks after ordering - no chance. Dozens of people just left without even ordering. Then you want to give the shop money, again for tens of minutes. And the big hit, the boss collects himself and is unfriendly and does not want to justify himself and does not even waste the thought of apologizing. Never again while the boss is in this basement.

Small cellar with good beer unfortunately closes at 9:00 p.m. Employees are very friendly.

My absolute favorite cellar! Not just at the Annafest time! Because of course special, but otherwise the food is delicious, cheap and the beer easy to drink. You sit nicely on one of the four different levels and can see different cellars and parts of the forest (which is very nice). Service quickly, prices good!

Been there today (May 17th, 2017) because I know all the basements and have always lived in Forchheim; I find it ridiculous that here is self-service, would be more going would be the speed of eating / beer tap not tradable ... hardly any change and everything was very strange, therefore only 1 star for the "new owners ..

If you are looking for good food and a quiet atmosphere is just right. The food is always fresh and the beer is just super good.
